It is a pleasure for me to inform you that you have been selected as the 
1994 recipient of the annual Award for Outstanding Service to the UAA College
of Career and Vocational Education (CCVE). The award is conferred each year
to an individual or an organization from the community who has given selflessly
of time and energy in support of the mission of our college. You were nominated
by Professor Tom Miller. Your service to the Aviation Maintenance Technology 
department certainly qualifies you as worthy of this honor. Your selfless 
sharing of expertise and sound judgment with the industry was also cited in
the nomination.
We would like you to join the faculty and staff of the college on Tuesday, 
August 23, 1994 in the Lucy Cuddy Center. A continental breakfast will be 
served between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. The formal presentation of your award will 
occur between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. You also are welcome to attend any of the 
in-service workshops we are conducting both days [preliminary agenda attached]. 
We hope you can arrange your schedule to receive your award and to join us
